His credibility in lending first-hand insight to the leadership challenges within both corporate and ‘start-up’ business enterprises reinforces our training content with compelling business context and poignant examples of effective application. Immersion in such fiercely competitive environments has provided him with exposure to the extremes of both ‘stick’ & ‘carrot’ oriented leadership styles, instilling a great flexibility to interpret management insights to suit the culture of our client organisations.
Armed with honours and master’s degrees in communications engineering, self sufficiency in both designing & selling corporate communications networks allowed him to excel within the global sales division of British Telecom and progress to sales management responsibilities across Europe. The internet revolution of the 90’s inspired a lucrative sabbatical to KPN-Qwest, an internet start-up collaboration, driving new business sales of the global fibre-optic networks that now interconnect all of the major business centres around the world. Hitesh’s professional experience is complemented by an adventurous two year departure from the corporate treadmill seeking the more altruistic rewards of teaching design at secondary schools and travelling 22 countries of the world before returning with ambitions for a new vocation a change in career direction.
Before joining Indigo, Hitesh's initial trainer development was forged at Dale Carnegie Training, a global franchise in over 75 countries. Hitesh rapidly accelerated through their induction to become a fully endorsed trainer of all core programmes within 18months, subsequently achieving a trainer ranking of 77th (amongst 3,000 trainers world-wide) based upon client satisfaction evaluations. Hitesh is skilled in rapport building and questioning to discover the drivers that motivate others to step up to, and deliver against the challenges in their personal and professional lives. His enthusiasm for driving success is infectious and is readily apparent in his delivery style and coaching ethos.
