Hywel Thomas
Hywel Thomas specialises in coaching organisations, teams and individuals to greater performance in areas of communication, collaboration and creativity.
Educated in the UK, Hywel has lived and worked in the USA, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and throughout Europe. Initially involved in production management and IT consulting, he has specialised in learning and development issues since 1990. Over this 15 year period as a consultant he has facilitated many events for multinational clients including: Siemens, BMW, EUROCONTROL, Singapore Airlines, FedEx, Hilton International, JP Morgan, HP, AMS, Leica, Novozymes, Philip Morris International, NHS, Campari International. Furthermore he has coached people from a diverse range of organisations and cultures. His passion is to empower individuals to identify and achieve potential for themselves and those they work with. Hywel aims to do this through challenging, engaging, relevant and transforming training and coaching. He has worked with many organisations, public and private-sector, to improve their written communications.
As well as passing on his extensive communication skills experience through learner-centred and interactive programmes, in his role with The Training Foundation Hywel has been involved extensively with developing and implementing e-learning and blended learning solutions for many organisations.
Hywel is qualified in management, communications, engineering and elearning, as well as English language teaching. He is an accredited ‘Writing Dynamics’, ‘de Bono’, ‘Buzan’, ‘Think on Your Feet’and ‘Mindjet’ trainer and is also accredited to use Myers Briggs (MBTI), Team Management Systems (TMS) and DISC.
